Incorrect pin code
Entering the wrong pin code is a fairly common cause that many people make when using digital signatures to declare and pay taxes electronically. In this case, you need to check whether you typed the pin code correctly, whether you typed in Vietnamese or whether the computer has Caps Lock turned on. If so, turn it off.
Note that most USB Tokens only allow users to enter a limited number of incorrect pin codes (about 5 times). If you type incorrectly more than that number of times, the system will lock your digital signature. At this point, you need to contact the digital signature provider for support in unlocking and retrieving your password.
Digital signature driver error
When your USB Token has been used for a long time, it can easily lead to digital signature driver errors.
To fix the error driver signature, you can follow these instructions:
- Step 1: Find the digital signature drive in My Computer (usually has the name and logo of the digital signature provider)
- Step 2: Find the setup.exe file, then click to open the file and select Install.

- If your device has the Token driver installed but is having an error, please uninstall the file and reinstall it
- If you can't remove the old Token driver, use Unlocker to delete the installation folder, then copy the setup folder on another computer and paste it onto your computer

The reason may be because your USB Token has just been renewed or initialized, at this time the USB Token device will automatically update the serial range for security and to prevent digital signatures from being stolen.
In this case, you need to change the serial number declared on the Account declaration page to synchronize with the serial number on your USB Token.
Instructions on how to update the serial number of a digital signature
After checking whether the computer has received the digital signature or not by seeing whether the provider's digital signature icon is displayed on the computer's Taskbar. If you don't see it, you need to re-plug the USB Token and reinstall the file in My Computer's digital signature drive.
At this point, when the computer has received the digital signature, you proceed to declare normally. If the system still reports: Invalid digital signature - The digital signature is incorrect, you will have to update the serial number again. Digitally sign the tax page account.
The steps to update the serial number and digital signature on the tax page account are as follows:
- Step 1: Visit the tax page and log in to your management account
- Step 2: Select “Account Management” then select “Change service information”
- Step 3: In the "Services - Electronic tax payment" section, select "Change service information"
- Step 4: Select “Change CKS” and update new digital signature information, then click “Continue”
- Step 5: Check the information on the declaration "Register for changes and additions to electronic tax transaction information", after confirming the information on the declaration is correct, select "Sign and send ”
- Step 6: Enter the PIN code in the box on the screen window and click “Accept”
- Step 7: Click OK when the “Electronic signing successful” window appears.
